Refund Policy

How does it work?

At Lil Akhirah Tours & Travels, we strive to provide exceptional travel experiences. However, we understand that plans may change. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds related to all our services, including international travel and Umrah & Hajj packages.

1. Booking Confirmation and Payment

1.1 Booking Confirmation:

Your booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from Lil Akhirah Tours & Travels, following the receipt of your payment or deposit.

1.2 Payment:

Depending on the service or package, a deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking. Please note that the payment is for the booking of travel services, including flights, accommodations, and related services.

2. Cancellation and Refund Terms

A. International Travel

Cancellation by the Traveler:

If you decide to cancel your international trip:

  • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus any non-refundable service charges (e.g., visa fees, airline tickets). 
  • Less than 30 days before departure: Refunds are subject to the policies of airlines, hotels, and other third-party providers. A cancellation fee may apply.
  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund for the booking; however, we will assist you with rebooking or rescheduling, subject to availability and applicable fees.

B. Umrah & Hajj Travel Packages

Cancellation by the Traveler:
    • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus any non-refundable service fees (e.g., flight tickets, hotel booking).
    • 30-60 days before departure: 50% refund of the total package cost.
    • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund. However, in exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), we may review the case for partial refunds.

C. Non-Refundable Services

Certain services, such as flight tickets, visas, and non-refundable hotel reservations, are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective service providers and may not be refundable.

3. Refund Processing Time

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during booking. Please allow up to 30 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account. Refunds for Umrah & Hajj packages may take longer depending on the nature of the services and third-party providers involved.

4. Refunds for Service Issues

If there is a significant issue with the services provided (e.g., hotel accommodations, transportation, etc.), please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue or offer alternatives. Refunds or compensation may be provided if the issue cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, subject to the nature of the complaint and third-party policies.

5. Force Majeure

In the event of a force majeure situation (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics), which leads to trip cancellations, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the trip or offer an alternative. Refunds in these circumstances will be subject to the policies of service providers, and in most cases, will be processed as travel credits or vouchers.

6. Travel Insurance

We recommend purchasing travel insurance for all trips, including international travel and Umrah & Hajj. Travel insurance may provide coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and other unforeseen situations. Refund eligibility may be impacted by the insurance coverage purchased.

7. Changes to Refund Policy

Lil-Akhirah Tours & Travels reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and the updated version will take effect immediately upon publication.
