Coral Island, or Koh Larn, is just 7 kilometers away from Pattaya. It’s sitting right in the Gulf of Thailand. Believe it or not, It’s one of my most favorite places to get a break from the city chaos.

The island is approximately 4 kilometers long and 2 kilometers wide, with its highest point reaching 180 meters.

And the view from there? Definitely worth it.  

The terrain is mostly mountainous, covered with dense vegetation and narrow roads specially suitable for motorbike rides.

Let’s Get To Coral Island

There are two main ways to reach Coral Island from Pattaya:

1. Ferry: Ferries depart from Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya and take around 45 minutes to reach Coral Island. The fare is 30 THB per person. It will take you to either Na Ban Pier or Tawaen Beach Pier.
2. Speedboat: Speedboats are a faster option, taking around 15-20 minutes to reach the island. However, they are more expensive, with rates ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 THB. Actually it depends on the size of the boat you are planning to get on.

Coral Island has lots of activities for visitors and tourists:

Water Sports: You can enjoy various types of water sports like-
